This was a project that I was given a prompt to design a subscription box of my choosing while having it be an original idea. I am really interested in understanding astrology, especially when learning about different personas of people and how that can translate into your own personal zodiac. As I was coming up with different aspects of how I would integrate astrology into a subscription box form I needed to figure out what kind of product would translate it best. I started playing around with the idea of having jewelry being mixed with astrological signs of the individuals that would order this specific subscription box. This wasn’t the only aspect of the product that I wanted to integrate into the brand, I wanted to pair my love for space with my love for astrology.

Each box would be delivered during the customer’s birth month. Why this is an important note is that the jewelry inside each subscription box wouldn’t be focused on only their zodiac sign, but their birth stone as well. Mixing both of these things creates the experience that Astro Jewels prides itself on which is celebrating the birth of its customer.

How it would work is once someone subscribes they will automatically be added to the list of people who will get sent a box every year annually at the beginning of their birth month. Upon arrival, each box is different depending on the individual’s zodiac sign and birthstone. Inside they’ll find two separate card stacks that provide more information on their zodiac sign and their birthstone as well. Along with these cards there will be a horoscope zine that relates to the individuals specific zodiac explaining what is on the path for them during the rest of the month.
