The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a cult classic that is brought to Grand Valley State University annually along with a Drag show that is put on afterwards. For the 50th Anniversary at the Promotions Office on campus, I was tasked with designing all of the assets for the project; that included a poster, LHS (Laker Hub Slide) along with an Instagram story and post. When going about the design for this I looked back at the movie itself to get some ideas I wanted to use to capture the aesthetic of the film. Using tights in the background to capture the essence of Frank-N-Furter was something I used along with a 90s static that was overlayed on top to help create the overall design.
